A very special ca 1936 Italian art deco wall sconce by Carlo Scarpa (1906 - 1978) model 425.  The sconce attaches to the wall with a bronze plate.  Six loops of gold flecked Murano glass support a bronze collar and a thick walled cream colored hand blown bowl which, when illuminated, casts a warm glow outward and downward while casting light upward.  The sconce is 15” deep, 11” high and 12” wide.  Rewired for American electricity.
