French Art Deco Parchment Chest with Nickel Pulls
A very useful and beautiful French 1930’s four drawer chest which could be used in any room of your house. The chest is covered in parchment (goat skin) and has a mahogany base and trim around the drawers. The pulls are finished in bright nickel. The chest is 31 ½” wide x 16” deep x 34 ½” high.

French Art Deco Macassar Ebony Very Streamline Secretary Desk Cabinet
This French art deco secretary is from the 1930’s and is of fine Macassar ebony veneers with sycamore trim and interiors. The fittings are bright nickel plated copper. The center area has an open display shelf at the top. When the front pulls down it reveals a writing shelf, two drawers and various pigeon holes for supplies or correspondence, all in blond sycamore. The lower two doors open to reveal two shelves also in sycamore. Flanking the center section are two doors which also have two sycamore shelves. The whole is flanked by three open shelves for books or display. A beautiful and useful piece of furniture. Measures 61” wide x 17” deep and is 55” high.

French Art Deco Macassar Ebony Dining Table
This 1930’s French art deco dining table is finished in exotic Macassar ebony veneers with bright nickel fittings. At 47 ½” wide, the table is wider than most dining tables of the period. The 65” length increases to 99” when the two 17” finished leaves are installed on each end. The photograph of the top of the table fully extended shows clouds reflecting on it (had to take photos outdoors here in Florida)…The table has been professionally refinished, the nickel replated and it’s ready for your home.

French Art Deco Macassar Ebony Bookcase Cabinet
This French art deco 1930’s three door bibliothéque (bookcase) is clad in exotic macassar ebony veneers. The left and right hand doors open to reveal two drawers below four shelves (three of the shelves are adjustable). The center door covers five shelves (four of which are adjustable). The interior drawers and shelves are oak. The piano hinges, polls, escutcheons, keys and beveled kick plate are all in bright nickel. The case has been refinished and the metal replated. It measures 64 ½” high, 69” wide and is 20 ½” deep.

French Art Deco Brazilian Rosewood Sideboard Buffet
A spectacular French art deco sideboard in highly figured book-matched Brazilian rosewood veneers and solid mahogany from the 1930’s. The four door cabinet sits on a mahogany base and four sculpted mahogany legs, a mahogany trim surrounds the four doors. The stepped up top continues the rosewood pattern. The two left doors cover a bank of four drawers and a center shelf. The right doors contain a long center shelf. The interior is blond sycamore, the keys, escutcheons and fittings are in bright nickel. The sideboard measures 34” high, 94” wide and 18” deep.

A very geometric French art deco Carpathian walnut console from the 1930’s. The base steps up five times to a flaring center section which supports a six sided top with conforming apron. The console, which has been refinished, measures 28 ½” high, 45” wide and is 18” deep.

French Art Deco Mahogany Streamline Desk
A nice French art deco desk in walnut with a chrome foot rail and drawer pulls. The pulls are marked “Daff-Paris”. The asymmetrical desk has rounded corners and a shelf on one side and four drawers on the other, the top drawer locks. It is 31” high and 48 ½” wide x 27” deep. It has been recently refinished

French Art Deco Three Panel Mahogany Low Screen
This French art deco low three panel screen was created in the 1930’s. Standing 44 ½” high, the screen is of solid mahogany with the center panels geometrically carved in deep relief touched with silver. The three panels are each 19 ½’’ wide for a total width of 58 ½”.

French Art Deco Flame Mahogany Sideboard with Rose Marble Top
Stunning book matched flame mahogany veneers on the front doors of this 1930’s French art deco sideboard mark it as an extraordinary example of the ebeniste’s craft. The rose and white marble top and nickel plated bronze fittings (including the sweeping door pulls) set a tone that will enhance any décor. The frame is solid mahogany. The adjustable oak shelves feature delicate inlay on their leading edges. The sideboard is refinished in high gloss lacquer and measures 107 ¾” long x 42 ½” high and is 22” deep.

Pair French Art Deco Beds by Jacques Adnet
This pair of French art deco beds are by Jacques Adnet (1900 – 1984). The beds, in rosewood and birch, were exhibited in “Un Chambre de Jeune Fille” in “L’Immeble d’Etat de Brest” in 1947. They were illustrated in Art et Decoration No. 7, 1947, and are illustrated in Jacques Adnet by Alain Hardy and Gaelle Millet. Each bed measures 45” wide x 80” long and 44” high at the headboard.
