Dating from the 1930’s this American art deco club chair and sofa set is covered in a soft blue velour fabric. The set features wide arms, ribbed barrel sides and is exceedingly comfortable, on carved wood feet. The chair is 39” wide x 33” high and 35” deep. The sofa is 80” wide x 36” high and 35” deep.
A French art deco hand wrought iron coffee table dating from the late 1930's to the early 1940's, the sturdy piece is made of blackened iron with decorative brass finials at each end of the three stretcher bars with a glass top to allow the beauty of your carpet or floor to show through. Jules Leleu (1883 – 1961) designed this famous living room set of a canapé (couch) and three fauteuils (armchairs) in 1932. This set dates from 1945. The frames are of solid oak with bronze sabots on the front feet. The couch & chairs are upholstered in a tapestry woven at the “Aubusson Atelier Pinton” after a design by Paul-Elie Gerneze (1888-1948). A twin to the set is in the Collection Mobilier, Paris and is pictured in color in Leleu 50 Ans de Mobilier et de Decoration 1920 – 1970. One similar chair is pictured in Jules & Andre Leleu. The sofa measures 66” wide x 28” deep and the back is 33 ½” high. The three chairs are 24 ½” wide x 21” deep and 33 ½” high.
This living room set consisting of one sofa and two armchairs is by Jules Leleu (1883 – 1961) and was created in the 1930’s. The elegantly curved palissandre arm fronts terminate in saber feet with bronze sabots. The rear saber feet and trim are also palissandre. The body, box arms and loose seat cushions are covered in butterscotch colored fine calfskin. Each chair measures 36” wide x 35” deep and is 34” high. The sofa measures 80” wide, 35” deep and is 34” high.
This very classy and wonderful French art deco table dates from the 1930’s. The curved sides, base and apron are in macassar ebony veneers with a 1” thick grey, white and pink marble top. An extremely versatile occasional table equally at home in the center of a room or as an end table by a sofa or a bed or an accent piece in an entry hall. The table measures 34” x 21 ½” x 28” high.
Donald Deskey designed this three seat sofa in 1932 for his most important commission, Radio City Music Hall. There were several of these sofas in the Grand Lounge of the theatre.
In 1972 management decided that the Grand Lounge was too crowded and disposed of much of the original furniture. This sofa is from that dispensement.
The feet and base are of ebonized wood. The sides and upper arms are in soft black vinyl and the back and cushions are covered in a luxurious gray wool fabric. These sofas were only made for Radio City Music Hall and were never a production item for Deskey. This is a chance to own a rare and very important piece of American Design history…it's also very comfortable.

One of the rarest and most striking of Paul Frankl's production furniture, this sofa and pair of end tables are in black lacquer and black leather. The inset speed bands are nickel plated. The set measures 88" long x 31" deep x 50" high.

Kem Weber designed this American art deco triple band sofa and two chair set for Lloyd Manufacturing Company in 1937. The set features machine age triple band arms enclosing a sprung seat and back. The set is featured in Lloyd's 1937 and 1938 catalogs. The chrome tubing has been replated and the seats have been reupholstered in soft black leather. The chairs measure 27 1/2" wide and the sofa is 66 1/2" wide.
