WPA Color Lithograph by Francis Shields
A color lithograph by Francis Bernard Shields (1908 - ) for the Federal Art Project of the (FAP) of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1937. The print measures 11 ¾” high by 15 ¾ wide and is presented in a black wood frame with white mat. It is signed in pencil on the lower right “Shields”, titled in pencil on the lower center “Thought Rythms” also in pencil. On the lower left it is stamped “Federal Art Project, NYC, WPA”.
